Our President Teresa Crook Burns and husband Charles are currently in the Philippines for personal business reasons. At the same time Teresa is coordinating the production of the Indang Basketball team uniforms. She is also involved with the Cavitenos of Southern CA Medical Mission. She is coordinating with Governor Maliksi, to present the medical equipment and supplies to the different towns of Cavite. From Indang, Leo Crook, Nevin Oca and Lito Del Mundo are the major donors for the Cavitenos Medical Mission.
Our kababayan have just come back from the Indang Fiesta in the Philippines. They are Irene Huerto, Ed and Nato Sierra, Bayani and Flor Austria, Boogie and daughter Beatrice Margarette Petelo.
Sonny and Eppie Costa are grandparents to a baby girl. The daughter of Jennifer Costa Nunez and Mario Nunez, Katrina was born on June 8, 2002. She weighed 7 pounds and 11 oz.
Condolences to the family of Andy Huerto and Mayette Huerto. Mayette's sister Monica Perez Mercado passed away last May 8, 2002.
